The photo came to my attention on one of many sites I normally peruse for Photo Friday material.  I admit there is a touch of humor to it as it wreaks with irony.  But mostly I find it sad for the following reasons:

  • It apparently depends on your motives as to whether or not camping in public areas is legal or illegal.
  • Your desire to watch vampires meets with approval while your desire to protest does not.
  • The population density of these two campsites seems to indicate that more people are concerned with Bella and Edward than they are with the economic conditions.
  • If polled most people would be able to tell you more about Twilight than they would about the Occupy movement.
  • One camp is protesting the blood suckers while the other celebrates them.
What are your thoughts?
