Recap: I finally got past the 187 hurdle where I seemed to stall out for two weeks. I also finally started strength training instead of cardio-only exercising. A minor injury to my back on Saturday limited my efforts and exertion levels but I still managed a two pound loss for the week. I am so close to my goal yet it feels so far away. I really got used to how fast I was shedding the weight at the beginning but now it seems to be a battle for ounces. I have three more weeks to lose five more pounds but I'd like to get there sooner!

Recap: The bladder issue is much better! I did lose a pound this week because I've been so careful with eating but I wore my sweater to get weighed in so they wouldn't give me a hassle about being more than 5 pounds under my official goal weight. It's encouraging that even without running, just walking, I was able to maintain and not gain. That gives me confidence for the future if I ever can't run anymore and have to find other activities to burn calories. Recap: I was making great progress until Tuesday night, when I decided to go on an election-night eating binge. Doh! Still I managed to lose one pound from last week's weigh-in. I figured I better eat now, while I can still afford it.
